Where will you work as a Corrosion Research Engineer (M/F) ?



We are seeking a Corrosion Research Engineer (M/F) for one of our clients in the steel manufacturing industry, to be based in the Nevers area.

Corrosion Research Engineer (M/F): What will your duties and responsibilities be?

You will join a Research Center and work on projects related to improving alloys and manufacturing processes, developing new alloys, and providing technical support to customers (applications and processes). Within the "Cryogenics, Corrosion, Welding, and Additive Manufacturing" department of this Research Center, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Managing the processing of technical reports related to pickling processes with the assistance of department technicians, ensuring the quality of results and adherence to deadlines
  • Conducting corrosion tests specific to iron and nickel alloys
  • Participate in the management of the corrosion sector in terms of safety, maintenance, quality, and the sector's overall operations
  • Implement corrosion-related programs and studies to provide technical support to operational teams and the "Innovation and Development" department
  • Communicate with internal and external clients through reports, presentations, and other means.


What profile and skills are required for this position of Corrosion Research Engineer (M/F) ?

  • You hold an engineering degree or a Ph.D. in metallurgy with a specialization in corrosion and/or electrochemistry.
  • You have a real interest in research and in-depth characterization.
  • You are fluent in English and French.
