Job purpose

The Field Security Manager is responsible for operational security and implementation of the Majnoon Field Security Plan. The role has operational control of the following component parts of the security plan: OPF, Private Security and BOC Assignees. Assesses threat and implements appropriate controls to mitigate the security risk to ALARP. Manages security incidents within area of operations.

Duties and responsibilities

• Act as the rotational Field Security Manager.
• Responsible for ensuring the Majnoon Field Security Plan is implemented.
• Manages and coordinates Majnoon Field Development (MFD) Security Leads on a daily basis.
• Responsible for managing operational security and coordinating resources to meet the business needs.
• Responsible for investigating security incidents and submitting investigation reports.
• Responsible for management of the secure movement of MFD staff and contractors (Mode 1 & 2A) within MFDs area of operations.
• Responsible for the management of static security for camp and Oil & Gas facilities and all other MFD assets on Majnoon Field.
• Provide operational implementation of the Majnoon Security Strategy, focusing on the following key areas: OPF integration, use of technical security, use of Mobile and Static security and monitoring the local, regional and national security situation through an intelligence network.
• Responsible for maintaining close liaison with, ISF, OPF, IP, and other key stakeholders.
• Manages security related incidents and is a key member of the Emergency Management Team (EMT).
• Maintains Facilities Security Plans and SOPs.
• Technical Authority (TA) for authorizing security plans and documents.
• Continually reassess security threat to MFD activities and manage accordingly.
• Responsible for liaising and coordinating with contractor Security Focal Points to ensure appropriate security resources are allocated.

Qualification & Training requirements

• Certificate, diploma, recognition of prior learning (RPL) preferably in security/risk management.
• Valid SIA Close Protection License

Experience

• Previous Military/Law Enforcement experience.
• Minimum of five years' management in commercial security.
• Two years' experience in Hostile Environment is a minimum qualifying period.
• Relevant job experience within the Oil & Gas industry.

Language proficiency, computer and software skills

• Intermediate level application of Microsoft Office related software.
• English as a first language or CEFR Level C2 - (verbal & written).
