Over de functie

Als Werkvoorbereider ben je de spil tussen klanten, productie en supply chain. Je zorgt ervoor dat orders technisch en organisatorisch goed worden voorbereid, zodat de productie efficiënt en volgens planning kan verlopen.

Je werkt binnen een machinefabriek aan hoogwaardige producten voor de olie-, gas- en geothermie-industrie. In deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor het vertalen van klantvereisten naar duidelijke productie-instructies, waarbij je zorgt voor naleving van interne en externe procedures.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

• Opstellen van werkplannen en orderdocumentatie (BOM/routing in ERP-systemen zoals JD Edwards)
• Vertalen van klantorders naar duidelijke en uitvoerbare productie-instructies
• Opstellen en/of beoordelen van technische tekeningen (CAD/CAM)
• Adviseren over maakbaarheid, werkprocessen en procesinrichting
• Ondersteunen bij calculaties en kostprijsberekeningen
• Analyseren van productietijden en doen van verbetervoorstellen
• Inkopen van materialen en uitbestede werkzaamheden
• Afstemmen met planning, werkplaats en supply chain
• Zorgen voor tijdige beschikbaarheid van materialen
• Beheren en verwerken van orders in ERP-systemen

Aanvullende verantwoordelijkheden

• Toezien op naleving van kwaliteits- en veiligheidsnormen
• Onderhouden van contacten met klanten, leveranciers en interne stakeholders
• Ondersteunen van productie en oplossen van technische vraagstukken
• Bijdragen aan procesverbeteringen en nieuwe productontwikkelingen

Kwalificaties & vaardigheden

Essentiële kwalificaties

• MBO+ werk- en denkniveau (technische of administratieve richting) of gelijkwaardige ervaring
• (Junior) ervaring in een vergelijkbare rol binnen een productie- of machinefabriek
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands en Engels (Duits is een pré)
• Ervaring met ERP-systemen (bijv. JD Edwards)
• In staat om technische tekeningen te lezen en te interpreteren
• Bekend met CAD-systemen (bijv. AutoCAD, SolidWorks)

Gewenste kwalificaties

• Kennis van verspaningstechnieken en materiaalsoorten
• Ervaring binnen productieomgevingen in de olie-, gas- of zware industrie
• Ervaring met procesoptimalisatie en continuous improvement

About the Role

As a Werkvoorbereider you are the key link between customers, production, and supply chain. You ensure that orders are technically and organizationally well-prepared so that production runs efficiently and according to schedule.

You work within a machine shop environment on high-quality products for the oil, gas, and geothermal industries. In this role, you are responsible for translating customer requirements into clear production instructions while ensuring compliance with internal and external procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare work plans and order documentation (BOM/routing in ERP systems such as JD Edwards)
• Translate customer orders into clear and actionable production instructions
• Create and/or review technical drawings (CAD/CAM)
• Advise on manufacturability, workflows, and process setup
• Support calculation activities and cost estimations
• Analyze production times and propose improvements
• Manage procurement of materials and outsourced activities
• Coordinate with planning, workshop, and supply chain teams
• Ensure timely availability of materials
• Maintain and process orders in ERP systems

Additional Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
• Maintain communication with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Support production and resolve technical issues
• Contribute to process improvements and new product development initiatives

Qualifications & Skills

Essential Qualifications

• MBO+ level (technical or administrative field) or equivalent experience
• (Junior) experience in a similar role within a production or machine shop environment
• Proficiency in Dutch and English (German is a plus)
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Familiarity with CAD systems (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
