MAN Commercial Protection have an exciting opportunity in Birmingham for a Transport Safety Officer.

Shift pattern: 40 hours per week, shifts will include early mornings, late evening and weekends.

Payrate: £14.50ph.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

• Travelling on the West Midlands Metro (WMM) network to provide a visual deterrence on trams and at stations.
• Assist members of the public, by providing excellent customer service and promoting the Buy Before You Board for tickets.
• Supporting the WMM revenue protection team and providing support during targeted operations (will not be issuing penalties/tickets).
• Assist with crowd control during peak times and events.
• Use of Body Worn Camera for safety and evidence gathering.
• Complete reports via an app-based programme.

The ideal candidate must have:

• You must be able to work on your own initiative
• Full 5year checkable work/education history
• Valid SIA DS Licence
