Customer Order Fulfillment Manager

We are looking for a Customer Order Fulfillment Manager to lead the end‑to‑end execution of customer orders within a Quote‑to‑Cash framework. This role ensures reliable on‑time delivery, high service levels, and strong customer satisfaction while balancing operational capability, supply chain performance, and financial objectives.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team covering customer service, order management, purchasing, production planning, and supply chain activities. The role requires close collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal partners across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure execution certainty and delivery against the rolling fiscal‑year plan (POR).
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Order Execution
• Own end to end execution of customer orders and projects from order receipt through shipment.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers (trade, intercompany, intracompany).
• Actively manage priorities, risks, recovery actions, and escalation to protect delivery commitments.
• Ensure clear, proactive communication on order status, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Participate in internal and external and review meetings.
Customer Service
• Act as the single point of contact for execution related customer requests.
• Coordinate resolution of liquidated damages (LD) claims, credit notes, and quality issues in cooperation with Quality Assurance.
• Ensure adherence to contractual terms while protecting business interests.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, OEMs, end customers, and intercompany partners.
Purchasing & Execution Support
• Lead day to day purchasing activities supporting customer order execution.
• Ensure timely PO placement, supplier confirmation, expediting, and material receipt.
• Actively manage shortages, delivery risks, and recovery actions with suppliers.
• Coordinate closely with planning and operations to align material availability with shipping plans.
Production Planning & Operations Coordination
• Oversee order scheduling and production planning in line with customer demand and capacity.
• Coordinate daily with Assembly, Warehouse, and Shipping to ensure execution of shipping priorities.
• Drive cross functional alignment to resolve constraints and meet delivery targets.
Supply Chain & Strategic Procurement
• Drive strategic supply chain and procurement initiatives, including supplier selection and development.
• Lead cost, lead time, MOQ, and supplier performance improvement initiatives.
• Improve supplier on time delivery, resilience, and localization.
• Collaborate closely with the European Supply Chain organization to ensure regional and global alignment.
POR Ownership & Financial Alignment
• Plan and manage execution in line with the POR (rolling operational and financial plan).
• Provide regular execution updates to Finance, including monthly POR reviews.
• Manage execution related changes to protect delivery performance and margins.
• Support working capital optimization through disciplined execution and purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with European Collections Organization to support resolution of overdue receivables.
• Comply with trade compliance and check point regulations.
People Leadership & Continuous Improvement
• Lead, coach, and develop the Customer Order Fulfillment team.
• Ensure effective workload planning and team utilization.
• Set objectives, conduct performance reviews, and support employee development.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned, and best practice sharing.
Compliance & Safety
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) regulations.
• Actively promote a strong safety culture within the organization.

For This Role, You Will Need:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain, and a relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in order fulfillment, supply chain, procurement, or execution roles in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of Quote to Cash and order execution processes.
• Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
• Strong customer orientation and problem solving mindset.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Fluent in English and Hungarian.
