Function Description

At iPS Powerful People, we are proactively building a pool of skilled Offshore Mechanics for upcoming offshore and maritime projects worldwide. As an Offshore Mechanic, you will play a key role in ensuring the operational reliability of onboard equipment, supporting safe and efficient vessel or platform operations. Your mechanical expertise keeps critical systems running smoothly-even in tough offshore conditions.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems (pumps, engines, compressors, hydraulics, rotating equipment, etc.)
• Troubleshooting mechanical faults and conducting repairs to minimize downtime
• Ensuring all mechanical work complies with safety procedures and industry standards
• Monitoring equipment performance and reporting potential failures
• Maintaining accurate maintenance logs and documentation
• Assisting with mechanical upgrades, overhauls, and commissioning activities
• Collaborating closely with the engineering and technical teams to ensure smooth operations
