Job Role Description

Oversees ExxonMobil's government affairs efforts within their resident country, manages a small team of government affairs professionals. The manager will provide strategic direction, manage complex legislative and regulatory issues, and build influential relationships with key stakeholders

- Manage and mentor a small team of government affairs professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
- Lead the monitoring and analysis of legislative and regulatory developments within [Specify Country], providing strategic insights to senior management
- Develop and implement integrated advocacy strategies to shape government policy in alignment with ExxonMobil's strategic objectives
- Establish and maintain influential relationships with senior government officials, industry leaders, and other key stakeholders to advance ExxonMobil's positions on critical issues

- Collaborate with senior leaders across the organization to integrate government affairs strategies with business objectives and ensure cohesive policy advocacy
- Represent ExxonMobil in meetings with government bodies, policymakers, and external organizations, effectively advocating for the company's interests
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive briefings, presentations, and proposals to senior internal and external stakeholders on complex government affairs issues
- Ensure all activities adhere to the highest standards of legal and ethical compliance, maintaining transparency and integrity in all interactions
