Job Responsibilities
Project management knowledge to manage complexity, deep understanding of critical interfaces of different contracting strategy to define level of interface management and planning.
Follow a standard process, as defined by a professional project management organization, such as the PMI (Project Management Institute).
Interface management planning: develop and implement interface management plans, matrices, and procedures to define and track all points of interaction.
Stakeholder coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for all interface-related issues, facilitating meetings and ensuring effective communication between internal teams, contractors, consultants, and clients.
Risk and conflict resolution; identify, assess, and prioritize interface risks, developing mitigation strategies and resolving conflicts to prevent delays and ensure project objectives are met.
Information and document management: Manage the exchange of information, ensuring timely and accurate documentation, such as meeting and interface specifications, and maintaining records as an interface register.
Change management: Evaluate and manage changes to project interfaces, assessing their impact on deliverables and coordinating with stakeholders for effective implementation.
Technical oversight: Provide technical input and ensure that project deliverables are fit for purpose and comply with all technical and contractual requirements.
Quality and safety: Ensure interface requirements are properly considered in the project's quality plan and participate in safety processes.
Responsible for managing the necessary interactions across multiple work streams.
Standardize and coordinate procedures for internal and external stakeholders,
Represent and act as, “Projects Company Rep and/or Project Manager” where appropriate to Contractor(s), consulting companies and service providers as appropriate and as per the assigned responsibilities from the Projects Department General Manager.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline
Minimum 15 years in project management, with progressively increasing leadership responsibilities with an (IOCs) international Oil and Gas companies, and multi-cultural proven experience in leadership position is a must.
