Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
• Lead projects from selection, define through execution, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Analyse project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
• Establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and change
Job Responsibilities
Follow a standard process, as defined by a professional project management organization, such as the APM (Association for Project Management), The Pro-ject Delivery Capability Framework (PDCF), the project methodology PRINCE2 and the PMI (Project Management Institute),
Manage, control and co-ordinate all Gulf of Suez (GOS) Projects activities, dealings with all contractors and subcontractors in accordance with Gupco By-laws.
Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecy-cle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
Structure and manage integrated, multitrack performance databases offshore and onshore projects
Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management chan-nels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliv-erables
Conduct daily/weekly coordination meetings with all parties involved in the Projects activities to ensure alignment on priorities, appropriate communica-tion of risks and confirm plans for future work.
Defining project scope, goals, and objectives; developing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Carry out planning, including setting goals and objectives, defining roles and producing schedules and timelines for tasks. Some tools, Primavera6, can be used to create a visual project plan,
Select, lead and motivate your project team from both internal and external stakeholder organizations
Carry out monitoring and control activities to track the progress of the project.
Identify and manage associated risks through a proper risk management pro-cess, Identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks that could impact the project.
Implement any necessary changes throughout the process, through the man-agement of change process,
Monitoring and controlling project costs, ensuring projects are completed within budget.
Report regularly to the Project General Mangar in HQ, coordinate and align with the (GOS) Gulf of Suez district manager form Operation department.
Close the project - this includes evaluating successes and challenges to en-hance learning for your next project,

Education
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline
- Minimum 15 years in project management with progressively increasing leadership responsibilities with an (IOCs) international Oil and Gas Companies, and multi-cultural proven experience in leadership position is a must
