Roles and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates a proven working knowledge of various technical principles, within a specific engineering discipline as well as basic knowledge of these elements in other disciplines.
• Uses judgment based on practice and precedence.
• Has ability to apply knowledge to resolve issues of moderate scope and complexity using proven approaches and techniques.
• No supervisory responsibility but provides informal guidance and support to new team members.
• Develops understanding of team concepts, soliciting, promoting, and encouraging member's ideas, goals and efforts.
• Must be able to exchange ideas and information effectively in a concise and logical way and be sensitive to audience diversity.
• Requires a degree of tact and diplomacy when dealing with others and handling sensitive issues.
• Maintains confidentiality and keep appropriate people informed.
• The job has indirect impact by assisting more senior engineers in carrying out technical tasks requiring computation methods.
• The impact is related to the quality and timeliness of execution.

• Authority to stop work on any safety related concerns.
• Authority to approve Employee expense report, if applicable.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering or related Engineering degree.
• General knowledge of Oil and Gas production, hydrocarbon processing and oil/water separation.
• PC Skills and working knowledge of engineering software packages such as CAD packages, MathCAD.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Expertise:

• Experience in Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience in Subsea Industry.
• Knowledge on relevant industry standards, like API, ASME/ANSI, NACE, etc.
• SAP experience.
• Knowledge on Hydraulics and P&ID's.
• Thorough knowledge on GD&T Principles and application.
