Job Description:

Mission

Ensure the execution of Project Fabrication production activities, both performed by subcontractors or in direct hiring, making sure that safety, quality, time, cost and yields requirements are met

Tasks

• Participate in the overall fabrication project setup (production and erection sequences, layouts, executive strategies, mobilization strategies, etc.)
• Participate to the coordination of production project activities in yard, ensuring correct information flow between Fabrication Project Managers / Fabrication Yard Project Managers and Production department
• Support Fabrication Project Managers / Fabrication Yard Project Managers in the identification of technical solutions
• Represent Production during interactions with client
• Participate to HSE initiatives involving client representatives in the yard and promote project safe works practices and environmental protection, ensuring that safety and quality standards are respected
• Participate in project planning and scheduling, liaising for this purpose with other organizations and functions involved in executing the project and assuring the most suitable solutions in terms of construction methods (applicable eventually for common services such as painting cabin and prefabrication activities in workshop)
• Plan and control project production tools, equipment and personnel needed to execute fabrication projects' activities, ensuring overall resource optimization and granting project productive PF (Performance Factor)/KPI (Key Performance Indicator) in line with target
• Participate, insofar as within remit and in liaison with HSE, in the preparation of the general HSE Plan, the HSE Plan for the project construction and the HSE Manual for the activities within own area of responsibility
• Participate, insofar as within remit and in liaison with Quality, to project quality control and project quality improvement activities
• Prepare project production personnel mobilization plan
• Participate to the updating of project work schedules
• Assure that the project procedures defined for site activities are applied
• Supervise the project works performed by both subcontractors or in direct hiring, approving production work progress.
• Check project production work progress, identifying any critical aspects and, where construction activities are subcontracted, requesting necessary actions from the subcontractor concerned
• Ensure project coordination of all disciplines involved in the work up to Pre-commissioning / Mechanical Completion
• Assist the Commissioning department during project commissioning and start-up phases (when applicable)
• Contribute to continuous improvement process through the provision of suggestions regarding methodologies, tools, material management
• Optimize project layouts, material flow and workplace ergonomics
• Ensure respect of the housekeeping of production spaces
• Participate in the definition of project production and maintenance plan interacting with responsible department
• Identify project criticalities during yard activities, promote and implement all required countermeasures quantifying impact in term of cost and schedule
• Manage project warehouse material

What are we looking for?

Education: Master's Degree/bachelor's degree in: Engineering

Experience: 10 years of experience as a Construction Manager within the oil and gas sector, and thecandidate must have prior experience in Living Quarters fabrication activities

Languages: English Language skills required
