JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain HSE processes, procedures, and the EPS Global HSE Management System (HSE 360)
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, TCEQ, and other applicable regulatory requirements
• Lead or support incident investigations and drive injury-prevention initiatives
• Partner with leadership and employees to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
• Oversee environmental compliance, including storm water, air permits, and waste management
• Manage Hazard Communication programs and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

Job Duties

• Conduct and document HSE inspections, audits, and compliance activities
• Deliver HSE orientation and ongoing training for employees
• Review and update HSE policies, procedures, and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
• Initiate and track work orders for HSE-related equipment and repairs
• Coordinate with HR and Workers' Compensation on injury and case management
• Serve as primary contact during internal and external HSE audits and inspections
• Lead toolbox talks and participate in HSE meetings and initiatives
• Perform a mix of administrative (40-50%) and production floor (50-60%) responsibilities
• Travel approximately 5% annually
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HSE, science, or a related technical field required
• Minimum of 2 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
• ASP, CSP, or CSHO certification preferred
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations (including CFR Titles 29 and 40)
• Strong communication, training, and organizational skills
