Job Description
Hill International is hiring a Signaling Engineer for one of our metro projects.
Responsibilities
Check the technical aspects of activities;
Carry out or have carried out by the staff assigned to their discipline all monitoring and control activities as prescribed in the specifications;
Follow up and take into account any comments made by the technical coordinator;
Reviewing monitoring reports (daily reports and anomaly reports) to identify any noncompliance with contractual requirements or quality, safety and environmental standards, regulations and directives, work methods and workmanship, and reporting to the project manager together with non-conformance sheets;
Ensuring that changes to revised drawings, change notices or quality documents are passed on to factory and site inspectors;
Supervising site supervisors to avoid deviations or technical misunderstandings on site; Analyze the performance and variances of the lots concerned and order corrective measures after consultation; Ensure monitoring and quality control of documents produced by staff under their responsibility;
Organize the filing of documents in accordance with the system set up for the project;
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings called by the project manager or technical coordinator, Quality control of factory and site tests and commissioning
Qualifications
Engineer in Electrical engineering (CBTC - Communication Based Train Control), B.Sc. Degree, or with Master degree or plus in Electrical Engineering, over 10 years general experience, same position experience, previous metro experience
