Assigned Responsibilities:
1. Support for the operational activities of an EPC project
- Assist with interdisciplinary coordination and liaise with other engineering centers.
- Help oversee building subcontractors.
- Participate in verifying that documents are properly distributed to the construction team to ensure an appropriate scope of work.
2. Contribution to the development of methods
- Participate in the development of a comparative technical guide on construction solutions for industrial buildings.
- Conduct research and prepare summaries on:
o steel framing vs. precast concrete structures (spans, fire resistance, costs, flexibility, carbon footprint, corrosion, etc.)
o envelope solutions (cladding, facades, roofing) and their performance (thermal, acoustic, fire, maintenance, corrosion, costs, speed of installation, modularity). - Assist in formatting the guide and structuring the comparative tables.
