Job Description
The Position holder is responsible for assisting in delivery of safe, efficient, and reliable products and services to our customers. The job consults with operations groups as needed to support the area of expertise and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement of product and service delivery and formally communicates findings. The Data Hub Geologist / Geophysicist / Petrophysicist actively participates in promoting new technology and services offerings and supports the PL in risk management and applying lessons learned to improve job design and execution as related to the area of expertise. They provide real-time support to operations as required. The Data Hub Geologist / Geophysicist / Petrophysicist will be responsible for designing and developing and tackling open-ended data problems related to oil and gas domain. The Data Hub Data Hub Geologist / Geophysicist / Petrophysicist will be working with very complex, large data sets & data related challenges. The individual will be responsible for collaborating with various cross functional teams and providing periodic updates through presentations and demonstrations. The role will require working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide domain-driven technical support across the Sales, Product, and Service Delivery lifecycle for subsurface data platforms.
- Design and support data ingestion, management, and access workflows using OSDU-based architectures.
- Work with large, complex, and heterogeneous subsurface datasets (seismic, wells, interpretations, models, documents).
- Contribute to data platform solutions using microservices and API-driven architectures.
- Support and validate cloud-based data storage and processing on Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Collaborate with software, data, and platform engineers to optimize technical designs and workflows.
- Assist in real-time incident response, root cause analysis, and recovery related to subsurface data platforms.
- Identify opportunities to apply new, cost-effective, and data-driven techniques in subsurface workflows.
- Promote adoption of next-generation technologies for data-driven geoscience solutions.
- Contribute to technical documentation, best practices, and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Participate in technical communities, publications, and engagements with customers, universities, and research organizations.
- Support risk management by applying lessons learned to improve job design and execution.
