We are currently seeking a Transportation Planning Engineer with expertise in Aimsun traffic modeling to join our growing team in Toronto.
Your role
About you
Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $80,700 - $111,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.

We are currently seeking a Transportation Planning Engineer with expertise in Aimsun traffic modeling to join our growing team in Toronto.
Your role
- Participate in the design and evaluation of sustainable mobility solutions.
- Carry out transportation planning studies while ensuring effective coordination, adherence to schedules, and the quality of deliverables.
- Analyze modeling results and plans to support transportation studies.
- Develop growth scenarios and propose recommendations or improvements to meet project objectives.
- Prepare technical reports and summary documents to track project phases.
- Present studies and results to stakeholders and explain technical issues in clear, accessible terms.
About you
- Holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, with a specialization in transportation.
- Is a member in good standing with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
- Has a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Has a strong working knowledge of simulation and modeling software.
- Synchro/SimTraffic and AIMSUN.
- Has completed at least one traffic signal and/or transit project involving AIMSUN simulation.
- Has solid knowledge of traffic signals, including programming and equipment.
