In which organization will you be a Pressure Vessel Engineer?

We are looking, for one of our clients in the energy sector, for a Pressure Vessel Engineer, who will be based in Villeurbanne.

Pressure Vessel Engineer: What will be your missions and responsibilities?

Responsible for Pressure Vessel requisitions (Columns, Drums, tubular heat exchangers, plate heat exchangers, Air coolers, Filters, Column internals, Reactors, Static Mixers, Silos, Storage tanks)

Tasks to be carried out:
  • Calculation (AutoPipe Vessels) + issuance of guide drawings or MDS
  • Drafting of technical specifications for call for tenders,
  • Analysis of technical offers and clarifications with suppliers,
  • Preparation of technical comparison tables,
  • Preparation of equipment requisitions for purchase,
  • Follow-up of supplier studies after order, verification of documents, coordination with other disciplines (process, layout, instrumentation, electrical, civil engineering, ...)


What profile and skills for this Pressure Vessel Engineer position?
  • Engineering degree (Master's level)
  • General engineer, Mechanical engineer ideally with specialization in pressure vessels
  • At least 3 years of experience on Pressure Vessels in refining, gas, petrochemical field
  • Experience gained in an engineering company or with an equipment supplier as project engineer
  • French
  • Good level of English required (writing documents in English, leading meetings in English with clients and suppliers, occasional travel abroad...)
  • Software: Word and Excel
  • AutoPipe Vessels
  • AutoCAD or BricsCAD
