In this role, you will deliver essential HR support services to our Napier site, helping us run what runs the world. You will provide timely, accurate, and customer-focused HR assistance while maintaining compliance with our business processes and quality standards.

Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will deliver essential HR support services to our Napier site, helping us run what runs the world. You will provide timely, accurate, and customer-focused HR assistance while maintaining compliance with our business processes and quality standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the end to end recruitment process for manufacturing based positions, working collaboratively with hiring managers and new employees to ensure a seamless onboarding process in accordance with ABB standards.
- Manage the weekly/monthly payroll time and attendance process and ensure timely submission to the payroll team
- Collaborate with the HR Business Partner to ensure expert advice is provided to in scope population, aligning to current NZ best practice and ABB policies and procedures
- Support the HR Business Partner with local and global initiatives and organisational change as required
- Oversee and champion wellbeing initiatives to enhance employee welfare and engagement
- Ensure the HR function is collaborative, trustworthy and engaged with the Napier team, fully supporting both team members and our people leaders in scope of responsibility

Qualifications for the Role
- 1-2+ years of experience in an HR operational or advisory role with strong knowledge of HR policies, practices and employment law.
- Proficiency in MS Suite, SAP or similar ERP systems, and HRIS platforms. Knowledge of Workday is advantageous.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or relevant experience preferred.
- Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, with ability to maintain compliance with 4-eye-check and SOX controls.
- Experience in or familiarity with manufacturing or production environments is preferred
