Overview

Subsea7 are looking for a brilliant Engineering Tender Assistant to join the Engineering Department in our London office on permanent basis.

The GPC (Global Project Centre) Engineering Tender Assistant assists Tender Technical Lead in controlling tender technical documentation and supporting technical teams working on Tenders in providing good quality technical deliverables by utilising the existing process, guideline, and tutorials to all tenders.

What will you be doing?

  • Set up, manage, and govern Engineering Support to Tender (ETS) SharePoint sites, Teams channels, permissions, workflows, and the Tender Document Register (TDR).
  • Coordinate with Technical Leads, Managers, and engineers to define documentation requirements, track progress, manage interfaces, and mitigate delays.
  • Manage the preparation, formatting, approval, issue, and archiving of client tender deliverables in line with internal, client, and SIA requirements.
  • Develop and maintain standard templates, checklists, reporting (Power BI/TDR), and tender platforms to ensure consistency and transparency across tenders.
  • Oversee continuous improvement of tender engineering processes, tools, and systems, by leveraging new technologies and best practice.


What experience would we like you to have?

  • Advanced IT skills with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly SharePoint and Teams; proficient in Word document formatting.
  • Experience managing document control in an engineering environment.
  • Highly organised, shows initiative, and able to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to manage own workload and collaborate across teams.
  • Skilled in English (written and spoken) with a positive, accommodating mindset and a resolute commitment to HSEQ standards.
