What role you will play in our team

The Process Advisor is a key leadership position at Planta Vallejo, focused on driving process excellence and operational transformation. This role leads process optimization initiatives using LEAN principles, partners with cross‑functional teams to implement impactful improvements, and contributes to the execution of the VAL Masterplan.

As a change agent, the Process Advisor challenges the status quo, brings forward innovative ideas and best industrial practices, and plays a meaningful role in advancing the plant toward world‑class operations. This position offers strong visibility and growth opportunities for professionals with a passion for operational excellence and continuous improvement.

What you will do

Generating a workplan to enhance and improve operations, coordinating activities, coming up with solutions, engage with vendors and other areas such as planning, maintenance and other Process areas (blending, packaging and warehouse). Gain knowledge in LEAN, train other personnel.

Generate initiatives for process optimization
Coordinate activities required in process changes from blending, packaging and warehouse

About you

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Industrial, or related field).
  • 5-10 years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing, and/or Industrial processes (preferred).
  • Strong experience in process analysis and optimization within manufacturing or operational environments.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing operations; experience with LEAN Manufacturing methodologies is highly valued.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify improvement opportunities and drive operational excellence.
  • Proactive and results‑driven, with a high sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to influence and lead cross‑functional teams without formal authority.
  • Adaptable and agile, comfortable working in dynamic, fast‑paced environments.
  • Continuous learner with a genuine curiosity and desire to grow professionally.
  • Ability to add tangible value through problem‑solving, innovation, and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

  • LEAN Manufacturing Knowledge and experience: having implemented or followed a LEAN program in past experience. Knowledageable in LEAN Manufacturing toolest to be able to train personnel and implement LEAN culture.
  • Strong communication and influence skills, with the ability to deliver clear, impactful presentations, build compelling business cases, and foster effective collaboration across cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
