Reviewing, approve, and managing the daily operational activities of the Operations Department. Managing direct reports through coaching and mentoring, resolving operational issues, conducting performance evaluations, making recommendations on personnel actions, motivating the team, and participating in goal setting while monitoring performance across the following functional areas:
- Safety and environmental compliance for all product lines
- Production operations and product quality
- Manufacturing Engineering
Budget Management - Lead the preparation, management, and reporting of the annual operating budget.
- Ensure effective execution of approved budgets related to investments and operating expenses.
- Develop and manage capacity budgets including headcount and equipment-based on business forecasts.
- Logistics budgets and inbound/outbound cost management ensuring cost visibility, financial disciplines
Lean Project and Continuous Improvement - Lean Sponsor to initiate, support, and reinforce lean initiatives across the organization.
- Lead the identification of process improvement opportunities related to 5S+1, quality, and operational efficiency, and oversee the execution of Lean activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive year-over-year productivity improvements through structured lean and automation production
KPI & Process Management: - Define, implement, and continuously improve rigorous operational KPIs (including OEE, quality, cost, wage rate, yield, and throughput, logistics cost )
Cross-Regional Operational Alignment - Act as the bridge between China operations teams and the global operation organization, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables
- Provide operational insights and planning feedback to support ICO sites operation
- Ensure transparent communication of project status, operational risks, and timeline changes
Other responsibility - People Leadership & Capability Building: Inspire, mentor, and develop both direct and indirect teams (including partner teams) Actively develop talent, build a culture of accountability
- Change & Risk Management: Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate risks-including new product launching, new technology /machine transfers, and process changes.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate cross-functional teams with project engineering, sales, supply chain , ensuring seamless operational delivery and alignment with business strategies.
- Support and build efficient communication with China Corporate logistics team, local custom to align with Emerson compliance and regulations.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Over 10 years' experience in the field of Marine or equivalent business industry
- Degree in either Business or Engineering
- At least 5 years direct management experience and strong leadership skills
- Ability to learn new skills ,AI tools implementation quickly and proven drive for results
- Strong co-operative skills, positive and customer focus attitude towards the daily working relationship
- Good interpersonal and c ommunication skills, especially in English.
- Experience in LEAN or "world class" manufacturing
