Offshore Construction Manager - WTG (Wind Turbine Installation)Location: Offshore (Rotation-Based)Start Date: ASAPDuration: Until 31st October 2026Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (12-hour day/night shifts, flexibility required)Contract Type: ContractAbout the RoleSpencer Ogden is seeking an experienced Offshore Construction Manager - WTG to support a major offshore wind project. This is a key leadership position responsible for managing wind turbine installation (WTG) operations offshore, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of construction activities.You will play a central role in coordinating offshore teams, contractors, and stakeholders while maintaining strong HSSE standards and operational performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage day-to-day offshore wind turbine installation operationsEnsure all activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with HSSE best practicesCoordinate closely with Installation Managers, Contractors, and offshore construction teamsOversee and support Client Representatives, Commissioning Supervisors, and Quality Inspectors offshorePlan and coordinate marine, logistics, and construction activities in collaboration with contractorsParticipate in daily planning meetings and ensure alignment across all offshore operationsManage custody transfer processes, including surveys and handovers between packagesMonitor contractor performance, including punch list tracking and close-outEnsure compliance with project procedures, statutory requirements, and company policiesSupport daily reporting, progress tracking, and offshore communication systemsLead and promote a strong safety culture, encouraging proactive reporting and interventionParticipate in toolbox talks and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) where requiredAct as the first point of contact for offshore WTG package personnelKey DeliverablesSafe and efficient execution of offshore WTG installation activitiesAccurate daily reporting and progress trackingEffective coordination across offshore teams and contractorsTimely closure of punch list items and incident actionsFull compliance with offshore site management procedures and HSSE standardsRequirementsMinimum 7+ years' offshore experience, ideally within offshore wind turbine constructionStrong background in offshore construction, installation, or marine operationsRelevant professional education in construction, engineering, or equivalent experienceValid offshore certifications:FUET or BOSIETGWO Basic Safety Training (5 modules)Valid offshore medical (OGUK or NOGEPA)Proven leadership and coordination experience in complex offshore environmentsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work in a high-pressure, safety-critical environmentWhy Apply?Opportunity to work on a large-scale offshore wind projectFixed-term contract running until 31st October 2026Competitive contract packageWork with a globally recognised energy recruitment specialistBe part of the transition to renewable energy
