- Pillar in all FE speciality knowledge (Data QC, quantitative interpretation, GWD, petrophysical & geological synthesis)
- Represent the specialty in internal or external events
- Enforce and promote guidelines, best practices & rules from Group referential
- Main Contributor on petrophysical well data interpretation & petrophysical data synthesis for TEPMA affiliate
- Specialty development & visibility
- Contribute to the capitalization of the patrimonial GROUP data as well as the company Know-How
- Maintain Link with HQ senior Petrophysicists and specialists
Activities
Key Responsibilities
Studies:
- Perform Real Time and Rush Well data evaluations to help conducting the well operations (LWD & Mudlogging)
- Perform the appropriate well log data quality control (QC) & validation
- Check and/or validate the tools environmental corrections as well as data depth control & depth match
- Validation of the reservoirs petrophysical properties & their fluid content using the available well data, ensure all well data has been properly integrated.
- Gas While Drilling analysis (GWD). Ensure the fluid synthesis together with Fluid samples characterization and pressure data
- Provide best in class petrophysical studies
- Be the main focal point for HQ petrophysics specialty entity in the Affiliate.
- Write, correct & technical validation of the service generated documents (Reports, Memos, Presentation) to communicate & present studies' results for internal or external (out of specialty) purposes
Candidate Profile
Education
- BSc or MSc in Geology, Geoscience, or a related Earth Science discipline.
Experience
- Professional experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience
Competencies
- Strong multidisciplinary integration skills, with the ability to synthesize datasets
- Self-driven, organized, collaborative, and capable of working in fast-paced operational settings.
- Excellent communication skills; oral & written - Fluent in English and Portuguese
