Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Information Manager - Site Supervision to support on-site delivery by ensuring that BIM models, digital data, and construction activities are fully aligned. This role plays a critical part in model-to-field verification, site supervision, and quality compliance, supporting construction teams in accurately translating design intent into built assets. The position will focus on site-based BIM quality assurance, Field Quality Observations (FQOs), and coordination between construction, subcontractors, Quality, and BIM teams. The role reports to the Quality Manager with a functional reporting line to the Project BIM Manager.

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Information Manager - Site Supervision to support on-site delivery by ensuring that BIM models, digital data, and construction activities are fully aligned. This role plays a critical part in model-to-field verification, site supervision, and quality compliance, supporting construction teams in accurately translating design intent into built assets. The position will focus on site-based BIM quality assurance, Field Quality Observations (FQOs), and coordination between construction, subcontractors, Quality, and BIM teams. The role reports to the Quality Manager with a functional reporting line to the Project BIM Manager.
Your role
Site-Based BIM & Construction Supervision
- Support on-site construction supervision by validating that BIM models align with actual field installations.
- Participate in regular site walks, inspections, and progress reviews to verify digital-to-physical consistency.
- Assist construction teams in resolving model-based construction and coordination issues.
- Ensure that approved BIM models are being used during site execution.
BIM Quality Assurance & Control
- Develop and implement site-focused BIM QA/QC plans and workflows aligned with ISO 19650 and project requirements.
- Conduct on-site BIM quality checks, including model compliance and constructability assessments.
- Review and manage model revisions arising from site conditions and construction changes.
- Validate data exchanges and model integrations, including BIM-to-IFC workflows.
Field Quality Observations (FQOs)
- Identify, record, and classify Field Quality Observations related to discrepancies between design models and site-installed works.
- Lead coordination meetings with Quality, Construction, and Subcontractor teams to review and close FQOs.
- Document model update requirements using the BIM issue tracking platform.
- Log and track site issues through the Quality management system until resolution.
- Work closely with Subcontractor Quality representatives to ensure timely closure of site issues.
Stakeholder & Subcontractor Coordination
- Act as a key interface between site teams, BIM teams, designers, and subcontractors.
- Provide on-site BIM guidance and technical support to construction and supervision teams.
- Conduct briefings and toolbox-style sessions to ensure site teams understand BIM requirements and revisions.
- Ensure compliance with approved BIM execution plans during construction.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare reports on model-to-field alignment, installation compliance, and quality metrics.
- Maintain accurate records of site-based BIM issues, resolutions, and approvals.
- Support project audits and handover documentation from a BIM and quality perspective.
About you
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 15+ years of experience in BIM, construction supervision, or digital delivery on major projects.
- Strong site supervision experience with direct involvement in construction activities.
- Proven experience applying BIM processes within live construction environments.
- Solid understanding of construction sequencing, site operations, and quality inspections.
- Hands-on experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar construction management platforms.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, BIM models, and specifications.
- Strong coordination skills with contractors, subcontractors, and site engineers.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage site teams and senior stakeholders.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple site priorities.
- Willing and able to access all areas of the construction site as required.
- High standards of ethics, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Self-starter who can operate effectively in fast-paced, site-based environments.
