The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage large-scale solar construction activities from planning through to completion.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to clients, ensuring a high standard of service and system performanceOversee construction teams and ensure efficient daily site operationsManage workflow and coordinate field activities to meet project timelinesDeliver daily/weekly reports on progress, performance, and any site issuesInterpret construction drawings and schematics (civil, structural, and electrical)Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and industry standardsLead, document, and report on safety meetings and compliance activitiesSupport project pre-planning, including:Resource planningProject sequencingMaterial take-offs and requisitionsSubcontractor scope reviewsMaintain strong communication with project managers, engineers, and clientsMonitor construction schedules and track:ProgressDeliveriesInstallation challengesSite activityCoordinate with subcontractors, electricians, and site personnel on scheduling and quality controlManage and support a large workforce (up to 300+ personnel including subcontractors)Provide technical guidance on electrical and construction-related mattersTrain teams on equipment use, maintenance, and site proceduresKey RequirementsProven experience delivering turnkey construction projectsStrong background in utility-scale solar projects (essential)Experience overseeing:Civil works (foundations, piling)Mechanical installation (mounting structures)Electrical installation (preferred)Ability to start quickly and operate independently on-siteStrong leadership and team management capabilitiesExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage projects on time and within budgetWillingness to travel and work on rotationExperience & QualificationsMinimum 5 years' construction management experienceStrong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systemsExperience with heavy equipment:Forklifts, reach forklifts, bobcats, scissor liftsProficiency with surveying/building tools:Laser levels, transitsGood knowledge of construction mathematicsProficient in Microsoft OfficeStrong organisational and detail-oriented approachProven ability to maintain strong client relationshipsExperience working safely and enforcing safe working practicesPrevious solar industry experience highly desirableBulgarian language skills preferred (local candidates advantageous)Work RotationWeek 1: Monday-Friday on-site, weekend at accommodationWeek 2: Monday-Thursday on-site, Friday travel home, return MondayRepeat rotation
