About the role
This role is an opportunity to join bp's Wells Solutions organization in Pune, supporting the governance, quality, and lifecycle management of Wells requirements and OMS documentation. Wells Solutions provides scalable technical expertise, digital tools, and governance frameworks to support safe, compliant, and efficient Wells delivery.
Working with a global network of Content Owners, Advisors, and Specialists, this role ensures Wells requirements and supporting documents are controlled, compliant, current, accessible, and audit-ready. The role plays a key part in document governance, quality assurance, OMS alignment, requirements digitization, and support to Audit and Management of Change (MoC) processes.

What you will deliver
Document Control & Governance
- Handle the end-to-end document lifecycle for Wells requirements and supporting OMS documentation, including creation, review, approval, publication, revision, and archival.
- Ensure documents are version-controlled, traceable, and aligned with bp OMS, document governance standards, and retention requirements.
- Maintain accurate document metadata, ownership, and approval records across repositories and digital platforms.
- Support standardization of document structures, templates, naming conventions, and classification.
Requirements & OMS Management
- Support the maintenance, update, and governance of Wells requirements to ensure alignment with OMS and regulatory expectations.
- Coordinate with Content Owners to ensure requirements are clearly written, quality-checked, consistent, and implementation-ready.
- Support the digitization of requirements and supporting documents in approved digital requirements management systems.
- Assist in improving requirements traceability and accessibility across Wells assets and business teams.
Quality Assurance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to document quality, simplification, and governance efficiency.
Audit & Management of Change (MoC) Support
- Provide documentation and governance support for internal and external audits, including evidence collation and audit readiness.
- Support Management of Change (MoC) activities by ensuring impacted requirements and documents are identified, updated, reviewed, and approved.
- Track and report status of audit and MoC-related documentation actions.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Content Owners, Wells regions, advisors, specialists, Digital and Automation teams, and P&O.
- Coordinate reviews, approvals, and governance forums related to requirements and documentation.
- Prepare and present documentation-related materials, metrics, or updates to collaborators and leadership when required.
What you will need to be successful
Educational qualifications
- Full-time graduate in any field.
Experience
- Preferred minimum 5 years of experience in a high-hazard industry supporting document control, requirements management, OMS, audit, or change management.
- Experience working with controlled documentation environments and formal governance frameworks.
- Exposure to Wells or Upstream Oil & Gas operations is preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of:
- Document control and document governance principles

- Management of Change (MoC)
- Experience with digital requirements or document management tools (e.g., DOORS or equivalent).
- High attention to detail and ability to work with sophisticated technical documentation.
