JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Completes shipments by processing and loading orders
• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
• Enforces Inventory Control by performing Cycle Counts as needed
• Provides quality service by following organization standards
• Preserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat
• Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Completes reports by entering required information
• Utilize safe work habits
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in shipping & receiving or distribution operations, preferred.
• Ability to pass a background and drug screen/health screening
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required
• Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date
• Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment is preferred
• Computer proficiency required - data entry skills
• Inventory control & equipment maintenance
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
• Positive attitude, decision making, interpersonal skills, conflict management and coaching skills
• Factory environment with a large range in temperature changes
• Standing, walking, bending/stooping, push/pull, and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily
• Lifting weights up to 50 lbs regularly
