JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Senior Simulation Scientist with a strong and proven track record in finite element analysis (FEA). This role is part of a corporate engineering group that drives advanced research, development, and strategic initiatives, influencing engineering practices across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • You develop a strong understanding of the corporate infrastructure of hardware and software directly related to engineering work being done in the company.
  • You collaborate in a project specific teams that produce support and consulting services for urgent engineering needs that beyond the capacity of the current production engineering structure.
  • You work with current team in ongoing projects by conducting simulations and generating technical engineering reports.
  • You coordinate between the infrastructure and the end-user community. You collaborate with users to take advantage of the resources. Provide feedback to the infrastructure strategy teams.


Requirements:

  • B.Tech/M.Tech. in Engineering in Mechanical, Structural, or Manufacturing disciplines with 6+ years of industry experience or Ph.D. with 3+ experience.
  • Shown technical, analytical, and empirical skills.
  • Consistent record in conducting research and producing viable solutions for engineering problems.
  • Proven numerical analysis background with extensive experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • Consistent records of using commercial FEA simulation codes (ANSYS,Abaqus) to model and solve complex engineering problems.
  • Consistent records in static, explicit, non-linear analysis, Fatigue, Fracture Mechanics.
  • Solid Experimental background; have used experimental data for validation and verification of numerical results.
  • Familiarity with Hypermesh or other PrepPost Meshing Tool is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ASME Sec VIII-Div2/Div 3 and API TR8, 17G, 6A, 579-1 is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) is a plus.
