While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is often required to stand, walk, and maneuver about shop floor. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. May have to lift up to 50lbs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform surface preparation activities, including masking and sanding prior to painting or sandblasting.
- Perform spray painting functions including undercoating, preservatives and lubricants.
- Clean and maintain paint shop equipment such as air lines, fluid lines, paint pots, paint guns and respirators.
- Ensure coatings meet NOV or customer requirements.
- Clean and store empty paint containers for proper disposal.
- Maintain and change paint booth media filters and surface protectant coatings as needed.
- Properly contain hazardous waste from paint shop operations.
- Under general supervision, spray paint small component parts prior to assembly and final coating.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Three months related experience or training.
- High school diploma or GED.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Basic math, reading, and communication skills required.
- Must be team-oriented with good vision and hearing.
- This role requires strong attention to detail as it is often the final review before product delivery.
