Function Description
This role combines technical leadership, advanced geophysical expertise, and close collaboration with subsurface and development teams, ensuring high‑quality seismic data, robust reservoir models, and reduced subsurface uncertainty to support field development and business planning.
As Senior Geophysicist, you will be responsible for:
- Lead the 3D high‑resolution seismic acquisition and processing project, ensuring delivery aligned with subsurface and development objectives.
- Perform advanced seismic interpretation, well calibration, and reservoir characterization, integrating geological and engineering inputs.
- Build, update, and validate velocity models, incorporating FWI and QI methodologies.
- Support field development planning and well proposals, providing key subsurface inputs for development wells.
- Conduct fault, stratigraphic, and reservoir analysis, particularly in complex turbiditic environments.
- Ensure quality control, consolidation, and management of geophysical databases and seismic datasets.
- Contribute to technical assurance, business planning, and partner interactions, participating in internal and external technical meetings.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Geophysics or related Geoscience discipline; Master's degree is desirable.
- 15+ years of experience in geophysics and static reservoir characterization.
- Proven experience working in complex turbiditic reservoirs and field development planning.
- Strong technical expertise in seismic interpretation, velocity modeling, FWI, and QI methods.
- Hands‑on experience with Petrel, Kingdom, Paleoscan, or similar modeling software.
- Solid understanding of seismic acquisition risks and geohazards.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
