Join our Facilities team as a Junior Facilities Associate, where you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our workplace. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this position contributes to the smooth, safe, and efficient functioning of the office environment while supporting internal teams and partners. This is a hands-on role within the Facilities function, offering exposure to a wide range of operational activities in a professional setting.
Your Role
- Maintain inventory lists and ensure accurate tracking of assets.
- Keep track of shift permits and pre-job documentation.
- Maintain neighbourhood listings, reports, and floor plans.
- Perform minor facility installations and light maintenance, including mounting frames and installing safety or emergency signage.
- Sponsor contractors and vendors and support related activities.
- Conduct daily walkthroughs with the Facilities team to identify issues related to lighting, temperature, repairs, cleanliness, furniture placement, and general upkeep.
- Fulfill general building and office maintenance requests, including furniture ordering, deliveries, and assisting with desk moves and rotations.
About You
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
