Fully remoteThe successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting safe execution of all site activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HSE support to site management and subcontractors during installation and fit-out works.
- Ensure compliance with local Danish HSE legislation, project requirements, and company standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks; identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting.
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to HSE procedures.
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation, records, and reports.
- Support emergency preparedness and response planning.
- Promote continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance across the project.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HSE Advisor on construction or data centre projects (installation/fit-out experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of EU/Danish HSE regulations and standards.
- Relevant HSE qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent).
- Experience working with multiple subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to influence and promote a proactive safety culture on site.
- Fluent in English (Danish language skills are advantageous but not essential).
Desirable
- Previous experience on large-scale data centre or mission-critical projects.
- Membership of a recognised professional HSE body.
- First Aid / Fire Marshal training.
Working Conditions
- Site-based role in Fredericia.
- Standard construction working hours with flexibility as required by project demands.
