Job Summary
Plan and coordinate function to fulfill customer orders using project management/planning and MRP tools as applicable to ensure customer order is delivered on time
Roles and Responsibilities
Daily
1. Plan and monitor production order which include releasing of work orders and ensure on
time delivery of shipment based on customer requirement. This includes:
✓ Raise routing request, submit cost roll form before WO launch
✓ Review backlog and ensure no past due MAD and align CSD to ensure completion
date accuracy, Request for CAD date change and follow up with Project dept.
✓ Rework order creation & follow up for NCR components under Engineering revision
change.
✓ Prepare shop packet based on planned order report
✓ Handling project add-on requirement (if required)
2. Follow up on material kits status to ensure full kits prior the planned start date:
✓ Prepare for 3-month shortages list (add in as necessary) - "Buy-parts" with buyer,
"Make-parts" with production planner; and periodically update on toolbox file.
3. Follow up on revenue items with operations as per listed in the revenue file to ensure
completion as per revenue commitment plan.
4. Attending meetings & updating status to ensure current communication flow to shop
floor & management:
✓ Attend ODM (Office Daily Meeting) and update the status.
✓ Attend SFDM (Shop Floor Daily Management) meeting
Weekly
1. Revenue projection update & balance to PTS (Pass-to-stock) status.
2. Preparation & communication of reports:
✓ Provide weekly report/ updates on material kits status for Production Planner to
schedule production.
✓ Lead weekly meetings with the operating team to review the plan.
3. Conduct A4 problem solving as part of continuous improvement process.
4. To review master routing lead time after releases versus material master lead time
(rough cut routing) to stabilize MRP.
Monthly
1. Review on work center hours and summarize material kits status for the current month
and next one month.
2. HSE submission (RIR & OI) as part of the company KPI.
3. Review exception messages for production order and perform re-scheduling to reflect
the current schedule/ progress.
Others (when required)
1. Trigger for delivery notes once parts has been PTS.
2. Handle Substitution request (if required).
3. Project request on customer cancellation cost analysis.
4. Handle MR (Material Request) triggered by shop floor.
5. MTO Switching request (if required).
6. Handle AFE request (if required).

Qualifications and Education Requirement
Experience:
Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
1-2 years' experience as a planner in an MNC would be an advantage.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (BA) or any related field of study.
