Job Description

The candidate must be well-versed in procurement management and team leadership, with solid knowledge of engineering, dredger components, spare parts, and periodic maintenance. He should have both practical and theoretical experience in this field, as he will be involved in commercial tenders covering general procurement as well as procurement specific to dredgers, their spare parts, and maintenance.

• Strong background in procurement management and team leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering, including dredger components, spare parts, and periodic maintenance.
• Practical and theoretical expertise in the field of dredgers and related operations.
• Ability to participate in commercial tenders, including both general procurement and specialized procurement for dredgers, spare parts, and maintenance services.
• Responsibilities for Internal Candidates:
• Lead and supervise procurement activities related to dredgers, spare parts, and maintenance services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between procurement strategies and operational needs.
• Evaluate and oversee tender processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and commercial requirements.
• Provide technical input in procurement decisions to ensure accuracy and efficiency in sourcing.
• Mentor and guide team members, enhancing knowledge transfer within the department.
• Support management in achieving cost optimization and supplier performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of proven experience, with priority given to candidates with dredging expertise.
