- Supervisory potential
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic would be of added value
- Good interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities
- Ensure all employees consistently implement the Company's HSE policies and procedures
- Promote HSE awareness to field personnel to develop safe working behaviour
- Conduct onsite inspection (site working environment, equipment, vehicles, facilities) and daily tours to ensure that work practices comply with standards in NMDC Group's HSE Manual and project-specific HSE requirements.
- Identify and report HSE Observation and LSR violation
- Verify HSE requirements for each work scope
- Verify implementation of FRA control measures
- Verify Sub-Contractors HSE performance and implementation of NMDC Group HSE standards
- Carry out effective HSE induction programs for NMDC Group and subcontractors personnel to ensure HSE requirements and standards awareness. Ensure that updated emergency response procedures are in place and that all personnel knows their respective roles. Coordinate with site management teams to conduct regular emergency drills to ensure the highest level of preparedness in any emergency
- Participate in the investigation of accidents/incidents and near-misses
- Monitor the maintenance and inspection of life-saving and fire-fighting equipment. Ensure that adequate emergency equipment is available and maintained in optimum operating condition
- Participate in onsite HSE internal meetings as a facilitator during the delivery of toolbox talks
- Prepare weekly and monthly site HSE reports and statistics for further action by senior colleagues
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree/ Diploma in a related field, or equivalent
- Holder of NEBOSH / IOSH Diploma or an equivalent internationally recognised HSE certification
- Minimum 05 years of related work experience in similar industries
