We are seeking an AI Lead Developer to support the design, and deployment of AI solutions that address real business needs and can be scaled across the organization. This role is intended for a strong technical professional with hands-on experience in AI development, machine learning, and generative AI applications, combined with the ability to work across the full solution lifecycle from prototype to production.

The Lead AI Developer will play a key role in implementing AI solutions, supporting architecture decisions, and helping translate business and technical requirements into working products. The role will partner closely with architects, product owners, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable AI capabilities.
This position is suited for someone who combines strong development skills with practical problem-solving, solid delivery discipline, and the ability to guide implementation work across AI initiatives.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement AI and Generative AI solutions for business and engineering use cases.
• Build, test, and deploy applications using machine learning, NLP, LLMs, and related technologies.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into working AI solutions.
• Contribute to the implementation of RAG-based, prompt-driven, and other AI-enabled applications.
• Support integration of AI capabilities into existing tools, systems, and workflows.
• Partner with technical leads and architects to ensure solutions are scalable, supportable, and aligned with standards.
• Participate in experimentation, prototyping, validation, and production deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot solution issues and support continuous enhancement of deployed AI products.
• Follow established development, testing, and documentation practices.
• Contribute to team knowledge sharing and capability building in AI development.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Relevant professional experience in AI development, machine learning, software engineering, or related technical roles.
• Hands-on experience developing and implementing AI or ML solutions in a business environment.
• Experience with Python and common AI/ML development frameworks.
• Knowledge of machine learning, natural language processing, and Generative AI applications.
• Experience building or supporting solutions such as chat-based tools, prompt-based workflows, RAG applications, or model/API integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Understanding of APIs, deployment practices, and production support considerations.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with MLOps or LLMOps practices.
• Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search.
• Experience with testing, evaluation, and monitoring of AI applications.
• Exposure to multimodal AI, document intelligence, or speech-enabled solutions.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Familiarity with responsible AI, privacy, and secure implementation practices.
• Experience mentoring junior team members or leading technical tasks within a project.
