What You'll Do:

As a Laser Marker 2, you'll play a critical role in ensuring precision, quality, and compliance across our manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Reading and interpreting internal drawings, SMPs, work instructions, procedures, specifications, and purchase orders
  • Setting up and learning a wide range of marking operations, including etching, stenciling, and other laser marking processes
  • Operating and learning tooling for a variety of laser and marking equipment
  • Maintaining exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate, high‑quality product marking
  • Working in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment with shifting priorities
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional technical teams including Equipment Services, Manufacturing Engineering, NPD, and Quality to support customer requirements
  • Supporting internal and external audits and maintaining compliance standards
  • Cross‑training within the department and supporting manufacturing operations across multiple departments and product lines
  • Training and mentoring less experienced team members
  • Completing required annual laser safety training and eye exams
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support the team and business needs


Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Willingness to actively participate in a team-oriented environment that embraces Lean manufacturing and 5S practices
  • This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.


Required Skills:
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Basic ERP system knowledge
  • Foundational understanding of tooling and equipment used to set up jobs on various marking systems
