Your Role and Responsibilities
We are now looking for a new Customer Quality Manager to join our team at ABB Oy, Smart Power in Vaasa. As a Customer Quality Manager you will have a central role in shaping the organization's quality strategy and its execution. Your main focus will be on leading and developing a team of professionals responsible for customer complaint handling, to ensure that supplied products meet quality requirements. In addition, you will be responsible for planning and conducting customer audits, acting as the main quality interface towards customers, and ensuring compliance with agreed quality standards. In this position, you play a key role in the quality processes of the world's leading automated low-voltage switch factory.
The work model for the role is: hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Maintaining and improving complaint processing procedures
- Ensuring, together with the team, that the factory's manufacturing processes meet top‑class quality standards to secure customer satisfaction
- Acting as the key quality interface in customer business reviews and audits as well as planning and executing internal audits
- Providing coaching and support to quality assurance representatives
- Monitoring and reporting quality KPIs and targets, tracking trends and making recommendations for continuous improvement
- Facilitating root cause analysis and corrective actions
Qualifications for the Role
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality-related positions from an industrial environment
- Ability to lead a team and support team members in achieving targets
- Working knowledge of Quality tools: 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, Minitab as well as Root Cause Analysis methods
- Clear communication in English, both written and spoken
- Capabilities for independent decision‑making
- Familiarity with quality related standards and compliance
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
