Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning & Project Controls Engineer (10-15 years) with strong Middle East construction and PMC background to support major mixed use development projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate must be proficient in planning, scheduling, project controls, and claims management, with solid knowledge of UAE authority approval procedures.

Your role

• Develop, manage, and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Establish WBS, activity sequencing, progress tracking, and schedule forecasting.
• Prepare lookahead schedules, progress reports, S-curves, and dashboards.
• Lead Earned Value Analysis (EVA) and performance measurement.
• Review contractor schedules, recovery plans, and compliance with contract requirements.
• Review and assess Contractor Variation Orders and Delay Claims, including time impact analysis and entitlement evaluation.
• Provide expert input on change orders, delay analysis, and claim justification.
• Manage schedule risks, conduct risk analysis, and update baselines as required.
• Coordinate planning inputs for UAE authority approvals and maintain compliance with regulatory timelines.
• Support project managers with reporting, early warnings, and project controls documentation.
• Skills & Experience
• Strong experience in marine works, deep utilities, infrastructure, and civil engineering projects.
• Advanced knowledge of planning & project controls, engineering workflows, procurement, and construction sequencing.
• Hands-on expertise in delay analysis techniques (TIA, As-Built vs As-Planned, Window Analysis).
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and their impact on schedules and claims.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and project control tools.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (mandatory).
• 10-15 years of relevant planning & project controls experience, including 5+ years in the Middle East.
• PMC consultancy experience is required.
• Certifications such as PMP, PSP,AACEI preferred.
• Strong communication and technical reporting skills.
