Senior Advisor - Infrastructure Investment Origination Confidential Infrastructure Private Equity Fund Location: Japan or South Korea (Remote) Engagement: Advisory / Consulting (Independent) Seniority: MD / Partner level Role Summary You will act as a Senior Advisor to a globally recognised infrastructure private equity fund, focused on originating proprietary investment opportunities in Japan and South Korea. You will leverage your local networks, sector expertise, and transaction experience to identify and shape investable platforms in industrial and digital infrastructure. This is an independent advisory mandate, not an employment position. Key Responsibilities Originate proprietary and off?market opportunities across industrial and digital infrastructure. Provide informed views on where capital should be deployed in your market and why. Open doors to senior decision makers at target corporates, conglomerates, and industrial players. Advise on deal strategy, transaction structure, and execution risks. Support evaluation, due diligence, and underwriting alongside the fund's investment team. Represent the fund in senior external meetings with potential partners and targets. Target Sectors Digital infrastructure: data centres, fibre, towers. Environmental infrastructure: water and wastewater treatment, waste management. Transport and logistics: logistics platforms, ports, rail?linked assets, supply chain infrastructure. Infrastructure services: long?term contracted service providers to industrial and infrastructure sponsors. Energy transition: renewables, storage, grid?adjacent assets (as relevant to the local pipeline). Candidate Profile - Japan Senior investment professional from a Japan?based private equity fund, infrastructure fund, or hedge fund. Strong record of originating and executing transactions in industrial or digital infrastructure. Deep understanding of Japan's corporate governance environment, carve?outs, and public?to?private opportunities. Established relationships with Japanese corporates, utilities, conglomerates, and relevant government or quasi?government stakeholders. Independent thinker with clear investment views and the ability to back them with data and experience. Native Japanese speaker with strong English. 15+ years of relevant investment experience. Candidate Profile - South Korea Senior investment professional with deep knowledge of Korea's industrial infrastructure ecosystem. Exposure to sectors such as water treatment, logistics and supply chain platforms, and commercial or industrial services. Active relationships with local and global private equity funds investing in Korea. Solid capital markets understanding, including experience with IPOs, PIPEs, or other equity/debt capital markets transactions. Familiarity with public?to?private and conglomerate carve?out transactions in the Korean context. Native Korean speaker with strong English. 15+ years of relevant investment experience.
