The Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising Fabric Maintenance and Inspection schedules to ensure safe, efficient, and cost effective execution of work. The role provides accurate planning data, supports decision making, and ensures alignment between onshore and offshore teams, operations, and client stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
Planning & Scheduling
• Develop and maintain detailed schedules for Fabric maintenance and Inspection activities.
• Ensure schedules reflect realistic durations, constraints, and dependencies.
• Integrate multi discipline activities (e.g., painting, insulation, PFP, RA) into a single coordinated plan.
• Update schedules based on progress, change, and approved variations.
Coordination & Communication
• Support offshore execution teams by ensuring clarity of work scope, priorities, and sequencing.
• Participate in planning meetings, readiness reviews, and daily/weekly progress calls.
• Communicate schedule risks, delays, and mitigation options.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting
• Track progress against plan using agreed KPIs (e.g., productivity, liquidation rates, POB, break ins, growth).
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly schedule reports for internal and client use.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work, remaining work, and forecasted durations.
Change Management
• Capture and assess the schedule impact of variations, break ins, and growth scopes.
• Ensure no additional work is scheduled without appropriate approval.
Tools & Systems
• Use planning software such as Primavera P6,SAM, AIZE, or client specific systems.
• Maintain data accuracy and ensure alignment between planning tools and execution reporting systems.
• Support continuous improvement of planning processes and digital tools.
Skills & Experience
Essential
• Experience in planning or scheduling within oil & gas, energy, industrial services, or similar environments.
• Proficiency in scheduling software (P6, or equivalent).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure.
Desirable
• Understanding of offshore execution constraints (POB, SIMOPS, access)
