We are currently seeking a Software Product Lead, reporting directly to a Department Manager of Digital For Operational Excellence Departement to join our Engineering Digital Products team based in Nanterre, Paris, France.

About the role:
Engineering Digital Products is a department within Technip Energies (T.EN) Information Technology (Digiteam).
Digiteam Engineering Digital Products department ensures that all software solutions used by the T.EN Engineering, whether customized off-the-shelf-solutions or internally developed systems, effectively support and enhance the delivery of T.EN engineering.
Serving as the Digiteam strategic partner to T.EN Engineering business stakeholders, Engineering Digital Products.
The Software Product Lead manages and coordinates Software Application Leads related to the Demand, Build and Run of the Material Take Off Applications, following Digiteam standards and work processes, in full alignment with Digiteam strategy, while also taking direct ownership of one Material Take Off application.
Together with the Business Product Owner of the Material Take Off Portfolio of Applications, the Software Domain Lead ensures the delivery and continuity of the solution to T.EN.

Digiteam Engineering Digital Products department ensures that all software solutions used by the T.EN Engineering, whether customized off-the-shelf-solutions or internally developed systems, effectively support and enhance the delivery of T.EN engineering.
Serving as the Digiteam strategic partner to T.EN Engineering business stakeholders, Engineering Digital Products.
- Establishes strategic, governance, and lifecycle frameworks required to manage products across the full build to run continuum.
- Oversees the structured intake and prioritization of business needs, ensuring proper framing and coordination into digital or technology initiatives.
- Ensures coherent execution across software, data, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture, while maintaining rigorous product governance, architectural alignment, and measurable value creation.
- Digiteam Engineering Digital Products seek candidates for a Software Product Lead, who will be responsible to lead a team of Software Application Leads for the Material Take Off Portfolio of Applications within T.EN engineering disciplines (Piping, Civil & Structural, Electrical and Instrumentation).
The Software Product Lead manages and coordinates Software Application Leads related to the Demand, Build and Run of the Material Take Off Applications, following Digiteam standards and work processes, in full alignment with Digiteam strategy, while also taking direct ownership of one Material Take Off application.
Together with the Business Product Owner of the Material Take Off Portfolio of Applications, the Software Domain Lead ensures the delivery and continuity of the solution to T.EN.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provides leadership to the team of Software Application Leads (team of 4).
- Manage teams of professionals in charge of the animation of the product, from new developments, enhancements, functional support to production troubleshooting.
- Establish and maintain the Product roadmap with the Business Product Owner.
- Partner with the Business Product Owners to ensure good prioritization of initiatives.
- Implement established governance and operating framework for the product domain including establishing the proper meeting cadence, responsibilities framework, and stakeholder alignment activities.
- Is responsible for project initiation, solution implementation, test and deployment coordination.
- Ensure design & development of software applications to meet business needs and expectations, with a specific focus on user-friendliness, scalability, and secured architecture.
- Is accountable for software product functionalities alignment with business requirements.
- Ensure the good delivery of the products towards defined objectives and key results within budget.
- Partnership with stakeholders for the delivery of interfaces and relevant features on other products.
- Is accountable to ensure product delivery is aligned with Digiteam standards and guidelines.
- Manage yearly budget process of product run, enhancements and initiatives.
- Manage the financial & ESG forecast of product cost and initiatives.
- Manage the resources for each product, in full alignment with People & Culture Strategy.
- Manage the risk on quarterly basis with Enterprise Risk Management team.
- Manage obsolescence of the product, based on roadmaps defined by the platforms and other product teams.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to measure the success of digital products, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate product updates and progress to leadership team and other key stakeholders across the business.
- Works with Digiteam Software Engineering to ensures implementation of established run processes with measurable KPI and OLA/SLAs.
- Works with Digiteam Software Engineering, Infrastructure and Cybersecurity to ensure secure software operations and support, and is accountable for software product operations and support, day-to-day operations management and software lifecycle management (planning, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, obsolescence management, retirement).
- Ensures knowledge of business use, knowledge of architecture, operations and management.
About you:
Qualifications (Educational/Professional):
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Professional certification on Agile and Project Management methodologies.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Experienced working in a product / platform operating models and agile at scale methodologies.
- Experience in managing the delivery of a software product.
- Experience in managing a team of software product leads.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Change Management facilitation and ability to guide and influence acceptance of new processes and use of technology.
- Ability to manage remote teams and work effecivtely with contractors.
- Proven leadership and transversal management in a matrixed organization.
- Proven project management, evidence based decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Able to manage and work with highly multicultural and globally spread team.
- Multi-tasking, ownership, initiative, and autonomy.
- Team player and team spirit.
Must Have:
- 10 years of experience in governance , delivery and management of a portfolio of software related to engineering or construction in the energy industry.
- Experience and understanding of engineering , procurement and construction work processes related to Material Take off.
- Experienced in conducting framing workshops.
- Experienced in AzureDevOps.
Nice to Have:
- Has a software development or solution architecture experience.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in product and project management.
- Knowledge of emerging data & AI technologies and trends, and a passion for staying up to date with the latest developments in the field.
