In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-sized projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are carried out in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and targets. You will also demonstrate your expertise by leading project team members to meet project requirements, deliver contracted outcomes, and achieve committed results.

This role is contributing to ABB PAEN in Algeria, reporting to the Project Office Manager. Main stakeholders are clients from the Oil & Gas and Utilities sectors, project sponsors, and internal multidisciplinary teams including engineering, automation, electrical, and motion specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading cross-functional project teams and defining execution strategies to achieve project objectives
• Overseeing planning, monitoring, and control activities across internal and external resources
• Managing project progress, ensuring optimal resource utilization, and maintaining control over budgets and financial performance
• Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks
• Recognizing and capitalizing on project opportunities to maximize value
• Directing project closure processes, securing formal acceptance, and completing contract close-out in line with contractual requirements

Qualifications:

• You are highly skilled in Project Management tools and methodologies and the Energy sector market, with a strong focus on Oil & Gas and Utilities
• You have 5+ years of experience in delivering Automation, Electrification, and Motion projects in the Oil & Gas industry as a Project Manager
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of Project Management processes, frameworks, and multidisciplinary team coordination
• You are innovative around proactive project execution, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and performance-driven leadership
• Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline
• Proven experience of leading projects safely, on time, and within budget while ensuring high-quality delivery standards
• You are at ease communicating in English and French
• You hold a valid Project Management certification or Management degree (strong asset)
