Your role and responsibilities
As a Product marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for maximizing sales volume, profitability, and ABB brand value for assigned products of IEC LV motors from marketing and technical perspective. Accountable for making, planning, and implementing sales plan and reaching sales budget of the assigned market and customers together with front-end sales team, especially IEC LV motor business.
Reporting to Sales Manager or Local Division Manager, you will identify and develop sales opportunities of IEC LV motors in Japanese market.
The work model for the role is hybrid.

Your role and responsibilities
As a Product marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for maximizing sales volume, profitability, and ABB brand value for assigned products of IEC LV motors from marketing and technical perspective. Accountable for making, planning, and implementing sales plan and reaching sales budget of the assigned market and customers together with front-end sales team, especially IEC LV motor business.
Reporting to Sales Manager or Local Division Manager, you will identify and develop sales opportunities of IEC LV motors in Japanese market.
The work model for the role is hybrid.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- 1. Strategy and Business Planning Develop annual plans for key markets by combining global product marketing strategies with market and customer data, while conducting regular progress reviews and proposing improvement measures.
2. Engineering Support Front-End Sales members in making optimal customer proposals through product/technical information sharing and motor selection, strengthening ABB's technical advantages to improve order win rates.
3. Pricing Strategy Conduct optimal pricing analysis to balance customer satisfaction and business profitability, while managing global sales support tools and systems to drive sales growth.
4. Sales Activities Oversee efficient quotation and order processing through sales support staff management, while strengthening post-quotation customer follow-up to improve order win rates.
5. Process Maintain full ownership of IEC LV motor processes from quotation to invoicing, driving continuous process improvements and tool/system updates to optimize team operations.
6. Training Enhance sales efficiency by providing product, technical, and sales training to each sales representative, while promoting knowledge sharing and cross-team collaboration.
Qualifications for the role
- Minimum 5 years track record in
- sales, engineering or marketing section to demonstrate capability to achieve
- business results. B2B business experience (preferred).
- Market and products specific
- knowledge
- Knowledge of Technical of motor products and/or VSD products
- Business level Japanese (Preferred)
- Business level English (Must)
- Graduate of Technical college or University
- degree (electrical background preferred)
