Job Purpose
- The projects manager role will manage delivery of an integrated projects portfolio in service of Castrol's value realisation programme (VRP) for NA market supply chain. This role will also provide targeted supply chain VRP project management support in line with PU priorities.
Key Accountabilities
- As part of the Castrol operational excellence team, work on an agile flow to work basis aligned to PU supply chain transformation/ competitiveness teams and priorities
- Integrate and manage NA supply chain value realisation programme (VRP) delivery, supporting relevant PU transformation roadmap development and deployment
- Support NA supply chain VRP activity prioritisation, proactively managing and balancing resources to secure delivery of targeted financial and non-financial strategic KPIs
- Manage NA supply chain VRP programme interdependencies, ensuring effective and efficient resolution of risks and issues
- Provide regular standardised NA supply chain VRP roadmap and reporting updates aligned to supply chain performance management process/ tools, and Castrol VRP governance model
- Manage key NA and cross functional stakeholder engagement and communications in support of PU supply chain VRP programme delivery
- Provide targeted project management support to key VRP programmes/ projects in line with relevant PU supply chain priorities (e.g., planning and digital transformations, operating and product cost competitiveness, supply network optimisation etc.)
- Proactively share VRP programme/ project learnings, experience, and good practice as part of global VRP PMO network
- As PMO lead for NA GSC end to end Digital transformation which include planning transformation, implement modern digital planning and supply chain tools, process enhancements and support capability build in line with Castrol's global planning frameworks
- Manage NA digital and planning transformation timeline, resourcing, benefits tracking and interdependencies, ensuring efficient and effective resolution of risks and issues
Education
- Degree or equivalent education or experience required
Experience
- 10 years of Experience in defining and leading successful transformations in supply chain
- Expertise in supply and demand planning. 5 years of planning role as anchor with ability to manage data as data steward
- Strong capability to drive S&OP, S&OE using Kinaxis or any other advanced planning tool on top of the ERP(JDE/SAP)
- Supply chain project portfolio/ programme management in areas of planning, VRP, Logistics and end to end supply chain
- Experience in Lubricants and/ or FMCG
- Experience of operating in a complex matrix organisation

- Ability to communicate, challenge and influence stakeholders at different levels
- Resilient with ability to manage ambiguity and complexity
- Business acumen and financial rigour
