Job Description
- Develop, update, and maintain project schedules in line with project requirements
- Support the creation and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- Integrate package schedules into the overall project master schedule
- Monitor progress against baseline schedules and analyze variances
- Prepare S-curves, forecasts, and progress reports
- Track and report key planning and progress KPIs
- Perform schedule analysis and contribute to risk assessments
- Ensure risks are properly reflected in project schedules and forecasts
- Review and validate contractors' schedules, methodologies, and progress reports
- Support procurement, tendering, and contract-related planning activities
- Assist with invoice verification in line with progress and contractual terms
- Contribute to weekly and monthly project reporting
- Participate in project meetings and provide planning insights
- Support Project Controls in all scheduling and reporting activities
- Ensure confidentiality of planning and progress data
- Capture and report lessons learned related to planning and scheduling
- Promote and comply with HSSE and company Code of Conduct standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or similar
- Minimum 5 years' experience in project planning or cost control within major oil & gas projects
- Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling principles
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 (essential) and advanced Excel
- Familiarity with tools such as Acumen Fuse, MS Project, or similar
- Experience working in large, complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across international teams
- Fluent in English; Portuguese and/or French are an advantage
