JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

• Review customer inquiries, specifications, and technical requirements to support bid and project execution
  
  Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals for pump packages and related systems
  
  Act as technical focal point for RFQs, coordinating with customers, vendors, and internal teams
  
  Engage with customers to understand needs and support solution development
  
  Support technical discussions, bid clarifications, and proposal reviews
  
  Collaborate with engineering and design teams on package development
  
  Manage multiple bids and ensure timely submission
  
  Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, API, ASME, etc.) and project requirements
  
  Identify and mitigate technical and commercial risks
  
  Support handover from proposal stage to project execution

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Minimum 8 years of experience in applications engineering, proposals, or technical sales (rotating equipment/pump systems)

Strong understanding of pump systems and rotating equipment

Experience in preparing techno-commercial proposals within Oil & Gas / Energy industry

Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in English (written and spoken)

Preferred

Experience with API / ISO / ASME standards

Exposure to ASEAN or international markets

Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, JDE, SAP)
