Supplier Quality Engineer

As the Supplier Quality Engineer in Lodz, you will play a key role in ensuring high quality materials are delivered to our manufacturing operations. You will work closely with suppliers to drive continuous improvement, resolve quality issues, conduct audits, and implement long-term quality strategies.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure all quality requirements are understood and consistently achieved.
• Conduct supplier audits to improve process standardization, reduce costs, and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor, communicate, and improve key quality indicators (including Parts Per Million, incoming inspection performance, and nonconformity levels).
• Coordinate all supplier-related corrective actions, including root cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures.
• Support suppliers in resolving technical process issues to maintain continuity and timeliness of deliveries.
• Support production and incoming quality inspection teams in diagnosing supplier-related quality problems.
• Manage supplier complaints and monitor the cost of poor quality, including coordination of repair and sorting activities for nonconforming components.

You are a proactive problem-solver who collaborates effectively with internal teams and external partners. You navigate challenges with confidence, communicate clearly, and build strong supplier relationships that drive long-term quality improvements.
For This Role, You Will Need:
• Higher education, preferably in engineering or a technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within an international manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and experience in supplier management, including supplier evaluation and auditing.
• Solid command of English, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of quality methodologies such as 8D, 5Why, Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, FMEA, PPAP.
• Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and a structured way of working.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
• Advanced proficiency in English or additional foreign languages (German, Italian, French, Chinese, Spanish).
• Experience working with measurement equipment for length and angle inspection.
• Knowledge of one or more manufacturing processes such as plastics processing, aluminum casting, or electronics production.
• References from previous employers will be a strong advantage.
