Responsible for leading the end‑to‑end financial management of operations in Mexico, ensuring compliance with IFRS, Mexican GAAP, tax and regulatory requirements, while supporting business objectives through effective financial control, planning and analysis. The role operates within a multinational Oil & Gas environment, ensuring strong governance, internal controls and regulatory compliance.

Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA - Certified Public Accountant (mandatory).
Master's Degree in Finance, MBA or similar is a plus.
Professional Experience:
Minimum 10-12 years of experience in finance and accounting.
At least 3-5 years in a managerial role (Finance Manager / Senior Controller).
Proven experience in multinational companies, preferably within Oil & Gas or the energy sector.
Experience working directly or indirectly with PEMEX.
Strong background in regulatory, fiscal, controlling and financial management in Mexico.
Technical & Language Skills:
Advanced knowledge of IFRS and Mexican GAAP.
Solid tax, regulatory and compliance knowledge.
ERP systems experience (SAP preferred).
Advanced English proficiency.

Function Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and reporting processes.
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Local GAAP.
- Oversee controlling activities, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
- Manage Oil & Gas accounting topics such as CAPEX, OPEX, AFE, Joint Ventures and ARO.
- Ensure compliance with tax (direct and indirect) and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Act as financial focal point for joint venture partners, auditors and authorities.
- Oversee cash flow, treasury activities and funding requirements.
- Maintain strong internal controls, policies and compliance frameworks.
- Lead, develop and motivate the finance team, fostering a high‑performance and ethical culture.
