Are you a hands-on infrastructure professional who thrives in complex, mission - critical environments?

TotalEnergies EP Malaysia is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Analyst to support, maintain, and enhance our core IT infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring the availability, performance, security, and resilience of infrastructure platforms supporting 24/7 oil and gas operations.

Activities

Your Impact

As the Infrastructure Analyst, you will:

  • Manage and optimize enterprise infrastructure platforms, including Windows Server environments, Active Directory, virtualization (VMware), storage (SAN/NAS), backup systems, and enterprise networks.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of infrastructure services in a mission - critical production environment.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure security controls, including patch management, endpoint protection, access control, and system hardening, in line with corporate policies and industry standards.
  • Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, refresh cycles, capacity expansion, and lifecycle management with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Collaborate with telecom, applications, and cybersecurity teams, as well as external vendors and service providers, to ensure integrated and resilient service delivery.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
  • Support cybersecurity awareness initiatives through technical deployment of tools such as phishing simulation platforms.

Candidate Profile

What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations or engineering roles.
  • Strong hands - on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization (VMware), storage, backup, and networking.
  • Good understanding of infrastructure security, patching, endpoint protection, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to work under pressure, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and provide after - hours or on - call support when required.
